Description
One rare Nymphaea caerulea rhizome.
AKA Egyptian Blue Lily, the Sacred Blue Lily of the Nile, Nymphaea nouchali var. caerulea. Also called “Egyptian Blue Lotus” even though it is not a member of the Nelumbo genus.
These are not imported or wholesale plants. I cultivate, harvest, prepare, and ship these plants myself. I do not use stock photos.
These will be shipped bare-root in damp peat moss using USPS Priority Mail on Mondays only. If you are expecting excessively hot weather, please ask about including a cold pack.
The plants were grown from hand-pollinated (self) and bagged flowers to prevent open-pollination. Their morphology has been verified to match true Nymphaea caerulea (details).
